The first edition of the Fan Art Community Newsletter is finally out! It took a while to get some of the necessary info in, but its a successful newsletter full of things you as a Fan Artist or Fan Art Appreciator should know! Check it out, and if you have any thing you can contribute to any of the sections listed (clubs, chats, contests, anything else?) send me a note! The new one will be available in a couple weeks, so until then, read it and favorite and spread the news!

This is a show hosted by a dear friend of mine, Melissa, who has been asking for donations of artwork and the like to auction off and giveaway as raffle prizes. Its a great event that "earns money for Long Meadow Rescue Ranch - a Humane Society of Missouri sanctuary. (They not only take horses but cattle, sheep, chickens and other farm animals that are rescued from bad homes.)" So if think you are up to par and your work is quality, send her a note or contact her via a comment! There is always a way to help out! I am working on my paintings as we speak!

If you're reading this, chances are you know that I belong to the Artists Relations Team dedicated to making your experience as artists and art appreciators here on dA exciting and full of inspiration! What you may not know is that we really need your support to ensure that we can reach as many people in the community as possible (I don't think people know, still, that we have a Fan Art Gallery Director... oh right. Thats ME. )

Well... so what? So if you are wanting to make a difference in a small way and want to stay connected to the team and what we have to offer, you should definitely deviantWATCH our fearless leader, $Moonbeam13. All of the relevent news comes out through her in an Artist Relations article your #1 source for all of the Gallery Director updates as well as news circling about the community that might be of interest to you.

As of this journal count (I've not gone through my comments yet or my notes today) we have 148 stamps! I know there are about 2 or 3 dozen more to add, and I have to tell you all, I am so amazingly surprised and incredibly impressed! I'll be adding the other ones later, and if I get enough I'll be sorting them by Gallery Director (I've already started doing so with my wordpad!) Keep up your amazingtastic work and I'll check in with you all later!

If you have skills, make them a personal "I support my (insert gallery here) Gallery Director, (insert gallery director)." Get creative! And hey, if you DO make a stamp for one of the Gallery Directors, link it in this journal. ALL STAMPS MUST BE DATED AFTER JANUARY 10th! (so if you have an old stamp its okay as long as you made it in the last 10 days)
